Dr. Mark Carbonara serves Assistant Vice President of Alumnae/i & Community Engagement at Dominican University. Mark has worked at Dominican since 2012. Mark is a proud undergraduate alumnus of Dominican University and feels lucky to be able to follow in the footsteps of the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters. Mark earned a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University where he was trained in facilitation, leadership development, and personal coaching strategies. Additionally, Mark holds a doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration from Northern Illinois University with a research agenda surrounding college student success, college men and masculinities, as well as the intersectionality of men, gender identity development, and student-athlete status.
