About Us
Animal Care League is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal shelter and spay/neuter clinic. Animal Care League also serves as the stray/lost animal holding facility for the villages of Oak Park, River Forest, Forest Park, North Riverside and Northlake. The Animal Care League 2nd Chance Resale Shop (located at 808 Harrison, Oak Park) serves as a nonprofit resale shop and adoption center that benefits the ACL.
Animal Care League is committed to providing shelter, medical care, and comfort to animals in need; reducing animal overpopulation; and acting as a community resource, thus promoting the human/animal bond.
